D. Johnson - pinched nerve

In July 2007, I was working in the yard moving large yard furniture by myself. While pushing one piece, it moved a lot easier than I thought it would and I lost my footing. I fell face first into the piece. I didn't notice any pain at that time. However, within a couple of days I went to tilt my head back in the shower and I felt a pop in my neck. The next morning, I couldn't move my head at all and I was in a lot of pain. I went to the emergency room and they took x-rays which didn't show any problems. They gave me a script for pain medicine and sent me home. After a couple days of the medication not helping, I looked in the Yellow Pages for a chiropractor. After the initial assessment, I was found to have a pinched nerve and a reversed spinal curve in my neck. The pinched nerve was addressed first. It has taken some time to alleviate my pain. However, with keeping on schedule with the Doctors (at Hesselberg Chiropractic)  recommendations, the pain has subsided and I am feeling good again. We are currently addressing the reversed spinal curve issue as I continue with weekly/bi-weekly visits. In doing so, I feel better than I have in a very long time.
